The Home of School Transformation
Many people ask, what is school transformation? And they have a right to wonder. What it comes back to for me, is that School Transformation is about an adage that we learned from a former Superintendent: What is possible here. It is a ray of hope, it is optimism, it about future-oriented. In the times of a rapidly changing economy and "words" being said by policy makers, politicians and educators about being "future ready" or other things - and actually developing practices to put into place to make that happen.
Our tagline is: Design, Develop, Deliver. We will see the term, "Design," multiple times throughout this work, so let's work to define/explain what that actually means. Design is often associated with words like: the arts, culture, creativity, and innovation. Design is also often thought of as disciplines: Fashion Design, Interior Design, Landscape Design, Architecture, UI/UX, and more. How when we refer to "Design" is through the practice of design. Specifically, Human-Centered Design that can be applied to any and all applications of life; from civic & policy, to learning, to organizational culture, and beyond!
